Cupcakes 4 A Cure - Cancer Fundraiser

We're proud to announce Richardson & Wrench Hurlstone Park/Marrickville will again be hosting our "Cupcakes 4 a Cure" Fundraiser to help raise funds for The Kids Cancer Project.

We are excited to be getting together again with the community for such a good cause.

This will be held on Wednesday, 18th May 2022 at 10.00am at our Hurlstone Park office located at 21-23 Floss Street, Hurlstone Park.

Last year we raised in excess of $7,500, with our office then matching this, totalling over $15,000 raised! Quite an achievement that you all helped make happen, and we are looking to raise even more this year!

So, drop in and enjoy some delicious cupcakes and a tea or coffee with our team. We will be selling adorable "Care Bears" ($54.95 each), as well as having a "Lucky Door" Prize, and a Raffle to be drawn on the day, with a chance to win the following  great prizes: 

1st Prize:   Trip to Hawaii!*  (*Flight Centre voucher valued at $2000)
2nd Prize:  SMEG Pastel x 3 Appliance Pack (Kettle, Toaster and Blender)
3rd Prize:   Weber Baby Q BBQ   

As outlined on the The Kids Cancer Project website, since 1993, they have contributed tens of millions of dollars to scientific studies to help children with many types of cancer.

Their mission is to support bold science that has the greatest chance of clinical success to improve childhood cancer treatments. Their vision is to see a 100% survival rate for children with cancer, while eradicating the harmful impacts treatment can bring.

$50 funds a researcher for 1 hour to find a cure 
$200 funds pharmaceutical preparation of a new clinical drug
$1000 funds tests to see if a new drug is working
